Today was the Big Cycle when we set ourselves (and our friends!) the challenge of cycling 400 miles in 4 hours in order to raise money for the work of Open Doors in Iraq and Syria. For more information and photographs please use this link. Huge thanks to everyone involved, we had a great afternoon!

We were pleased to welcome Julie Jones, the CEO of the Diocese of Lichfield who spoke about her faith and her work. We were able to pray for her during the service.

Our sung worship was led by Shaz and Nicola did the talk. We thought about Acts 14 and the roller coaster experience of the disciples as they shared the good news about Jesus. We thought about their obedience and desire to get straight back into those places where they had experienced difficulties and faced danger. We were challenged whether we had that same commitment and obedience.

Helen led our prayers and encouraged us to offer our thanks to God for the good things we experienced in Wolverhampton. We then had the opportunity of sharing in prayer our concerns for our city.
