Sunday 2 November

Today marked the start of the Great Vitalise Bake Off with the entry categeory being butterfly cakes. There were only 3 excellent entries and the winning entry was made by Helen – sadly there are no photographs as the cakes were eaten too quickly! We also enjoyed other homemade cakes which were not butterfly cakes – huge thanks to everyone who joined in and baked, as well as those who forced themselves to eat everything that had been baked.

Nicola spoke from Titus 2:11-15, e thought about the good news of Jesus being for all people, we thought about our hope in Jesus for the future.

Rev Ian Heath led our celebration of Holy Communion as we remembered what Jesus has done for us through his life, death and resurrection. We also celebrated our community together as part of the Church worldwide because of Jesus.
