Publically committing to be a lifelong disciple of Jesus

As a Methodist/Anglican fresh expression there are lots of different words we could use to describe how members of our community make their commitment to being a lifelong disciple of Jesus public.

The process has two stages: baptism and confirmation or membership.

Three members of our community have been on our Baptism course and as a whole community we will be looking at what it means to be confirmed or enter into membership of Church. During May we will be thinking about practical ways we can keep the promises that we made to God and to one another when we made our public commitment to being lifelong disciples of Jesus.
