Sunday 3 May

There was lots going on this evening!

We heard from Will about what this coming would would involve for him in his work as a Parliamentary Assistant to a local MP and what the outcome of the election could mean for him and his boss.

We heard from Catherine about her forthcoming trip to Romania to do DIY at an orphanage – she asked for our prayers!!

Nicola spoke about what the Lord’s Supper is all about and what it means for us as Christians to share in this celebration together. The celebration isn’t just about Christ’s death but it is a reminder that in Jesus there is new life. Communion changes us. It reminds us that because of Jesus we are changed, made new, children of God, forgiven and set free. Remembering Jesus’ death changes everything we do, we view the world differently because of that moment.

Revd Ian Heath led us as we gathered together as community around the table to share Communion, remember and celebrate.
